I think I got mine for $20 or $25, the week of its release, not expensive at all. Less than what the others usually go for actually.
But beyond that, it was put out by a little company called Criterion. They aren't in the business of putting out bargain discs, but rather top of the line product. If ya want cheap, Suncoast has some Anchor Bay titles for $2.99.
