Dear Mr. Bob,
I have a friend that is so impressed by you that even though she is intelligent, kind, creative and spiritual, she feels she may have committed a slight faux paus.
This past weekend (October,15th &16th)her daughter spoke with my daughter after hearing you were in Pittsburgh signing DVDs. We decided to keep it a secret from her as she had missed it and we figured it would be a situation similar to me hearing that Mr. Affleck was hanging around the 'Burgh-AFTER he had left. I had occasion to speak with her on Monday and she mentioned that she had gone to the Regent Square theater and while she was there met someone who looked just like Silent Bob. During the ensuing discussion she mentioned that she heard his last movie was not that great and suggested to the person who looked like Silent Bob that he rent Dogma. (Even though I know she is going to go see J&SBSB anyway)The statement was based on my experience and opinion after having sat through an hour of J&SBSB with two adolescents, something that I am sure affected my ability to enjoy certain lines and some of the content but that's my problem and the point is: if you weren't in Pittsburgh, and if that wasn't you, please let me know so she can quit concerning herself with the comment. She said the person in question was very nice as well as friendly (which is kind of a Pittsburgh thing anyway) and I think she feels bad as she may have spoken out of turn. Not to mention that we are dying to know if that was really you. If it wasn't you ignore this whole message and please send my regards to Mr. Affleck. I know this sounds odd coming from an adult but frankly I try to live in a fictitious world most of the time. Thank you for any response.
Sincerely, Parkerdot
