Dear Dr. Smith,
I've gotta thank the man for a truly entertaining movie. I went to see it for the first time last weekend after the tragedies in NYC and DC and it made me forget the world for 100 minutes. I know, I'm sorry. I didn't make it to the first weekend, and I guess I should be ashamed. But, I will tell you this. I am going to the theater again this week to see it with more people. I haven't been to any movies in a long while where I laughed so hard I was afraid of my soda spewing out of my nose (the first scene where the cast takes a good long stare into the camera and Silent Bob busts a huge grin).
And as for the 0 star ratings and the C-, they just haven't seen the other films. I think they would understand what a great...I don't know...tapestry that has been woven between this film and the other four. I was entertained more than I thought possible after what happened last week, and I have you to thank.
As for the Clerks animated series, I missed it completely and I was so stoked about it being on television. Will someone tell me what happened? I watch TV my own fair share, and I think I might have maybe possibly saw one ad on ABC. That was the problem. ABC didn't get the word out. I know for sure that Micheal J Fox is coming back to Spin City (and have for weeks), but hardly a peep was heard in the spring about a great show that probably would have rivaled South Park for my attention and religious following (And I still haven't seen it. Can anyone "help a brother out?")
After I type this I see the Disney influence hurt the show's schedule. Sorry about that :(
Okay, enough of me. Will there be another installment of the dynamic dope-smoking duo? And can you tell me the significance of the asterisks after your posts? Thanx,
Admiral Andy
