I really think it was better than Almost Famous, but then again I think Almost Famous was overhyped and not all that great.I did like Jason Lee in it though, but if you ask me I think Cameron Crowe(TITANIC)stole a lot of his ideas from Led Zeppelin...especially the part where the guitarist is standing on the roof and proclaims himself a GOLDEN GOD.The director got that from Robert Plant when he was standing on a balcony while feeling like a metalgod. The movie Almost Famous wasn't much more than that,a lame plagaristic attempt at trying to make a good rock movie.I thought the ending sucked as well, but in ROCKSTAR I got a way better feel for what the musicians were going through and how they act behind the scenes.Almost Famous went on and on about some punkass kid and his trying to write a stupid artical for Rolling Stone...bigdamndeal.BOOGIENIGHTS RULED IN A CLASS ALL BY ITSELF AND IS NOT TO BE COMPARED TO ANYTHING.DIRKDIGGLER had one hell of a package at the end of the movie...I'm jealous.
