Yup, left his sanity in 'Nam, and left his platform after the primaries last year. McCain would probably be doing a good job right now if he were pres, but I don't think he'd have been handling the people side of things as well as Bush is.
McCain's seen war, but NOBODY had seen what happened 9-11, that is until now. Bush is handling it wonderfully.
