I think Mallrats is a fine film, and Kevin sold himself short with the comments he made about it. The only things wrong with Mallrats are:
1. Jeremy London's performance. That little kid's truck was less wooden.
2. Not enough of a budget. If Kev had a few more millions at his disposal, I think it would have been an even better film than it already is.
History will show that Mallrats was a great film, if not for bringing the talents of Jason Lee to the screen, for fully unleashing the Dynamic Duo on an unsuspecting world.
