first, chris rock has won emmys for his HBO show "The Chris Rock Show" and also for his HBO special ("Bigger and Blacker" I think)
but thats not true about what kevin said about black people. he was asked once why there were no black people in clerks, and he said (not an exact quote), there aren't that many black people in that part of jersey.
but when kevin met Dwight Ewell, he knew he had to put him in a flick.
he never had anything about putting black people in his flicks. he just happenned to make clerks with friends and aquaintences.
You know-I read int he interview with mysterio that Kevin doesn't plan to do films with African Americans in them yet he's doing this Prince movie (or do i have the wrong prince?)and has put Chris Rock in 2 of his film. As far as black actors go Rock is not the kind of guy to hold his tongue aout well...anything...but especially about the whole black/white thing. I've always wondered if htat in any way made Kevin uncomfortable. Oh well-he's ain't hear and probably won't answer sooo--I guess I'll never know. Just curious.
