I've been to two recent Rocky Horrow Picture Shows, in two different states, and both had preshows that included major Jay and Silent Bob references. I spoke to one of the cast members, and he said that they were trying to think of a way incorporate even more J&SBSB material into the live part of the show.
In the first show, in Cambridge, Mass, they did a live rendition of "Because I got High" while wearing some particularly Jay and Bob like clothing. And in Providence, Rhode Island, they ran the J&SBSB trailer and heckled it like they do Rocky. Both were very funny.
Is this a trend? Could we see, in ten years, little goth stoners dressing up as Jay and Bob, and Banky and Holden, and Sissy, Missy, and the rest of the Scooby gang, on Saturday nights? Acting out the movie, and yelling and throwing things at the screen?
