: : no no no no, i got to see it without ever seeing the play or reading the book,
: See, I've read the book, as have all the people I heard the movie was crap from. Their beef, however, wasn't that it wasn't as good as the book, but that it simply wasn't good. But I'll give it a watch when it comes out on DVD, no doubt.

yeah well the book isnt as good as the play which isnt as good as the book which is better than the movie which is better than the book yet above the play. The point? You never find someone who likes all 3 but they have their favorites. Some like the play, some like the book, some like the movie - you never find someone liking more than one of them though, the point is if your not going to read the book and face it i doubt its printed in the US (which screws chances of the play), the movie is the thing to try and see.

: :.... it was really good and didnt get nearly enough press or promotion (and check out the soundtrack for some good aussie rock, spiderbait for example)
: LUUURVE Spiderbait . . . I really need to buy their new album. Just need money, first.

The soundtrack is really good if you can lay your hands on it.
