you think people would suspect a "huge conspiracy" if someone jammed gum in the locks, egged their bathroom, or bashed in a paper towel dispenser?
My examples just meant: people are strange, they do weird shit. Some people get off on the willful destruction of property.
Someone who would suspect a conspiracy over petty theft and vandalism is, well... nuts.
