Mayhap what this gentleman is trying to say is that each person's voice should be seperated. Maybe putting two people on the center channel, two on the left, and two on the right; or whatever. Very often the view askiew crew gets pretty excited about somthing and all of their dialogue gets mixed together. By seperating out the mics it might be easier to catch what people are saying. Also, it's pretty cool when it seems as though some people are talking from different areas of the room. Won't matter if you don't have 5.1; but then again, what are you waiting for?
