Can you imagine how much trouble setting something like this up is to begin with? At least in Red Bank, he can do it all without leaving his own backyard... with the help of his close friends, in places he's dug all his life... and it can provide his magazine shop with a sales spike to boot.
Whatever "profit" would be made by doing one of these things on the west coast... or in England... or wherever... would probably be lost in how far the man would have to go out of his way.
Not to mention how much easier it is for him to get his friends there because... half of them live in Jersey and the other half of them are actors who, while they live in LA probably, spend a lot of time in the NYC metro area to begin with.
When you factor in all the travel costs for Kevin and Jay and Vincent... and a few other celebrities... WITH the fact that he wouldn't get any "hey, I know you, you're local" discounts or at-least connections... doing one anywhere else would demand a ticket price in the HUNDREDS American...
Let alone the fact that it probably wouldn't be any fun for him.
You think you have it tough, AUSTRAILIANS have come to these things.
