I completly agree with you.
If people are going to critisize, at least make it constructive.
He sucks!! Does not say anything about the actor, but more on the person who quoted the saying (lack of purpose, or real insight on the subject)
Personally I thought he lacked a three dimensonally quality (his roles are ben affleck like instead altering himself into the character)
But some movies do need characters that require a Ben Affleck persona.
Yeah he's not going to get an oscar for Jay and Silent Bob, but he did what he was hired to do. Entertain.
And Critics Shmitics!! All Critics are Film Major Dropouts, who don't really have a clue about making a movie, they complain, whine, and totally demoralize movies to "thier own" point of view. But did they ever step behind a real camera and tried directing? Or in front of a camera and act?

And if they have done any of the above, they probably failed and decided that journalism could be a job they can take to pay the bills
