miramax has postponed the release of the movie for about six months over here, any ideas why?

Hi Y'All
Just received word from Rialto that Miramax Films has decided to postpone
the official release date of the Jay & Silent Bob Strike Again film until
next year.
But the good news for us is that MIRAMAX HAS GRANTED SPECIAL PERMISSION FOR
OUR ADVANCE SCREENING TO TAKE PLACE AS ARRANGED.
What does that mean? Anyone with tickets to tonight's screening will be
seeing the film on the big screen five to six months before the rest of the
country will get the opportunity to see it.
Don't say we do nothin' for ya!
Please don't be too late as screening starts from 8:30pm but we have a FULL
HOUSE - 250 tickets are a lot to redeem, what with popcorn to be arranged
too. I'll be at the Rialto on Broadway from 7:30pm or so with the tickets to
pass out to people yet to pick them up.
