Today I was listening to NPR and I heard that An American Werewolf in London was coming out on DVD. John Landis had gone back and remixed the sound, although I'm not sure if he also went in and "touched-up" some of the special effects, al a "Star Wars." I was wondering what you think about DVD reissues where the director gors back and alters the original film or the film's soundtrack? Do you think it's alright to alter them, or should they be left alone? or is it ok to only alter certain aspects?
just curious about your opinion. thanks.

oh, and by the way, TLA video in Philly had ABP so I was able to rent it (can't afford to buy it right now)and I once again thought it was an amazing film.
