i felt the dialog was better than what ive seen in roswell or *gag* dawsons creek (its not a creek? its not named after him? his last name isnt creek? what are they on about?) like the thought behind the necklace in the first episode with lana having it to show something then giving it away to allow lana to have the moment with clark, yet allow for clark to get scarecrowed. I did think it was interesting that lana, who was like a sister to clark is the love interest (little incestuous) and later marries pete ross who is now black and he calls ma and pa, mom and dad (ok the last part is the only bit i have the real issue with).
But then again i saw fast and the furious just before seeing it so maybe my standards have been lowered. Fast and the Furious, too much money spent on the cars not enough on the dialog and plot.

im not really joking. But anyway without bad scripts you wouldnt appriciate the good ones. Like oh i dont know.... :)
