Un-beer-lievable. It's not like the guns make a major statement in the film. I don't think the film should be altered in this way, and looks like everyone agrees with me. Jesus, like the law enforcement officers in E.T. having guns makes a huge statement on anything. What's next, taking the blanket off of him because it might be construed as a turban?
