It wasnt that he was excited, it was that he just kept going. We wanted to hear from Smith, and he wanted to tell us about his own life. Plus, bragging that he liked Mallrats isnt that remarkable at a Kevin Smith lecture, assuming everyone there liked it.
The guy was just really fucking annoying, and should have toned down his own act to show some respect to the Man.
