Jar Jar was the first really of its kind , even if the voice and actions were different, people are going to take a while to warm up to something like that ... I think you'll find in the next few films he'll play a role geared towards innocence lost ...and yeah , he was a little over kid-like ( I cringe at the "now this is pod racing" line ) but ya know , I watched it again the other night for the first time in a while and I loved all of , jar jar and jake lloyd included ..
