Hey, freswench...haven't read "Harry Potter" tho I tried to get into book
one & failed. And never found a foothold in LOTRings either for some
reason. Waiting for Jersey Girl, but let me know how you rate these 2.
Been off all entertainment/TV since the Saturday Before...unless you count
the radio news reports about acting natural while being on highest alert.
sigh. I'm not too cheery. But Jersey's got a great Governor-elect, and
Kevin & Co., so all bodes well for the askewniverse, thank Goodness!

: Aaahh, babka, I've been wondering where you have been, I'm so sorry about
NY, it was my father's home too, I'm just thankful he's in the spirit world
now, because to see what happened 9/11 would have broken his mortal heart.
He was an early Manhattenite (born in 1906, he was on the floor of the
stock market when it crashed! Statin Island was his later home)
unfortunatly I never got to know the city as he knew it....On other topics,
are you as buzzed as I about the Harry Potter movie, or even better, Lord
of the Rings, finally brought to screen!!! I'm almost afraid to go see them
since I love the books so-o much! Love from one who grew up in your
"neighborhood", freswench

: : ...an early opera airs today, Friday (11/9 - flip side of 9/11) on PBS
: : Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. It's apt. Sorry if off-topic. Here's my
: : haiku:

: : New New York's my home.
: : Ashes, ashes, all fall down.
: : Arcanum sixteen.

: : love, in any event, and strong hope!
