The guy from Godspeed you black emperor, 1 speed bike, is in a project called Bakunin's bum. Now this band also feature musician, comedian, activist extraordinair Norman Nawrocki from the band Rythm Activism. They are definetly worth checking out if you like Godspeed. The record is a benefit for Ontario coalition against poverty (ontario is where toronto is located)
As a side note, I saw mr Nawrocki perform is stand up comedy show "My dick and other manly tales" a couple years back, it was a delightful politically charged humor show that addressed homophobia from all different angles...
