I got a suggestion, but this comic isn't a 'super-hero' comic whatsoever. It is....'Johnny The Homicidal Maniac' by Jhonen Vasquez. It's about a guy, Johnny, who kills people that make fun of him, and he has issues. It's really good, has great humor, and is in black and white. The art isnt great, but its not about the art, its about the message that it gives...but it's not exactly saying killing is okay. just pick up Issue #1....if no comic store around you has it....go to: www.slavelabor.com and go to the store, then search Jhonen Vasquez. If you like JtHM, then read Squee, Jhonen's 2nd comic series. After that is I Feel Sick. Jhonen also does Nickelodeon's 'Invader Zim'
