Besides I don't think you had anything to worry about. Anyone who wants to beat someone up because of a t-shirt probably doesn't have the mental capacity to fight good any how.

You could have also said "Nice flack jacket asshole. Feel like testing it out?"

I grew up in Dallas, I know how to deal with rednecks.

: Yeah, it is pretty ridiculous...I have a t-shirt that says "Kill Whitey" (No, I'm serious) and I was wearing last spring break on the way down to South Beach...we stopped at a rest stop in NC, and this old guy in a flack jacket was seriously wanting to kick my ass, calling me a "traitor to my race" and everything...hell, if I think back, at least half my t-shirts have stuff on them that's gotten either my ass kicked or pretty damn close...I'm sort of hurt that my personality is so vacant people have to hate my fashion-sense instead...
