Jesus, it's not like you're paying membership dues to be here. I don't see you kicking a few bucks Kevin's way each month to keep the board running. There's really nothing tying you to this place, outside of nostalgia. So why do the so-called "old folk" find it so consistently necessary to piss and moan about how great it used to be and this is what's wrong with kids today - you're about one step away from yelling at the rotten kids to get off your lawn.
And I've got news for you - I was around back then too. It wasn't that great. This board got a little nuts after the JASBSB premiere, and especially after 9-11, but it's fine now. It's not like this place was ever the Algonquin Round Table and you were Dorothy Parker. This place was never the refuge of the social elite.
Bottom line is, this isn't your board, so you really don't have any say in how the posters should behave. If Kevin, Ben, or Ming have a problem with it, there are quick and easy steps to remedy.
And if you really don't like it, LEAVE.
It's really that simple.
