Normally, I don't advocate musicals, (not that I don't enjoy them, I just don't advocate them)...but being as "Chess" (The Musical) is a pretty good relic of the 80's and a decent representation of the Cold War conflict therein, it's a good investment. The music is written by the two B's in ABBA, Benny and Bjorn, and also lyrics by Tim Rice, who has quite a amazing talent, for a lyricist: "Some are set up in the Somerset Maugham suite."
Fitting "Somerset Maugham" into a lyric is a pretty remarkable thing.
