SONNET VIII:
For surely as the day doth trickle by,
Thine efforts are a talent spent in toil.
By augmenting the bard to V.A.’s eye—
To Shakepeare’s verse, thou art somewhat less loyal…
Forsooth, thy pains we doth appreciate,
While hours spent amending players’ words
Though as a production, I fear thy fate
Will not sell tickets, t-shirts to such nerds.
Alas, amusing post will still suffice
To offer chuckles to those keen to read—
But others soon will progress in their vice
Of seeking scandal upon which to feed.
Kevin Smith’s verse to us will always be
As words worthy of immortality.
