Seems like everybody, regardless of their actual involvement in the film industry, has a story about how successful artists are indeed assholes. Some jackass in my screenwriting class told a story about meeting the script supervisor for Dogma. According to this guy, she was in a resturant rewriting a scene at Kevin's request. I managed to stifle my laughter and tell the guy to piss off. The prof had to kindly explain what a script supervisor does. Then the guy confessed he wasn't a PA, but a waiter at the restaurant where the supervisor was eating.
As far as the PA story goes, I guess when you're a recognized screenwriter, you're no longer permitted to have or display emotions. And Kevin, I mean the guy puts himself out to invite his fans to be extras in his movies and organizes film festivals for their enjoyment. What a dick! To the PA, until you sell a script or make your own movie, shut up.
