Hi, I'm an Australian, does anyone remember us, we're that little country down in the southern hemisphere. Although we have a small population (comparitive to you yanks) we still have, I think atleast, a rather large following for Kevin Smith and his works of genius.
So why then does it take us YEARS and YEARS before we see any sign of the Jersey Trilogy available for retail purchase, and when we do we get half-arsed versions that come in fullscreen and without the special features that you region 4 Americans are so luckily blessed with?
And then why again do we not get to see Jay and Silent Bob till FEBRUARY NEXT YEAR!!!!!! Now I was waiting like a little kid to see Santa for the first time, I have been for weeks now, a whole group of us actually. We decided to sit down, have a Kevin Smith marathon, watch all previous four films YET AGAIN to prepare ourselves for this newest release. I wake up this morning only to find out it has been POSTPONED AGAIN, and not by a week or two, but by a matter of MONTHS!! ARRRGGGHH
Please can somebody over there PPLLLEAAAASSEE justify this kick in the gut! I'm sure there must be a reason, but if it has anything to do with greedy studios planning ways to make more money at the cost of us most loyal followers then I might have to resort to some crazy hostage type take over of my local cinema!
So please if you would like to avert this possibly terrible tragedy then please reply to me, and make a poor, poor Australian boy feel a little better!
Thanks guys.
