Jay and Silent Bob Postponement Stikes Back!!!!

Im sitting back chatting to one of my friends on the internet,when he gives me the news that Jay and Silent Bob wont strike back on Australian cinema screens until late Feburary 2002!!!!!
I think all Ausralians will understand when i use the phrase "What the....?"
is it not enough that the movie has been postponed once but now again....what's the deal with that?
the DVD and VHs versions of the film will be commercially available in the US before us little Aussies get to see the fuckin' film....even the English get to see before us......have we been forgotten about?the release was supposed to be today...there's an ad on the back of Australian Rolling Stone mag for it.........and alas,in the cinemas..........nothing!
the Kevin Smith followers in Australia aren't asking for much,just to see the last of the Jersey stories, one more last fling with Jay and Bob....is it too much to ask?
what relly upsets me is...that the postponement is until Feb 2002......why sooooooo late,whats wrong with December?
i think "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" would be a great christmas flick for the whole family (minus the family part)......as my friends and i have nothing to do for christmas, i could see this being a great christmas present for all those litte 15 year old who want to see a film with lotsa dick and fart jokes!!!
(including me a my friends even though we're all 18 and upwards)

so im now starting a petition....all people distressed by the fact that the film has beeen postponed should write in so that we can get some answers......now im not being a whinger and im not blaming anyone i just wanna know what the fuck is going on?
so anyone (not just Australians)who thinks we should get the film earlier than FEBRUARY please do be afraid to post a message...the more the better!!!!!
