: 1) Wouldn't the Courtyard Marriott be nicer than the Holiday Inn?
Well, sure, but we'd be missing out on all the festivities. Anyways, Rey was kind enough to offer his suite to trade. i called the Hilton to see if this was cool, and it actually turns out the person i originally booked with was mistaken. Apparently all the View Askew folks wanted smoking rooms, so there's plenty of non-smoking rooms. (Gee, i wonder why. :-)
Actually, i might just upgrade to a suite, since it'd be nicer. (But at $139?!)
: 2) You have tickets to the Producers, Lion King, Letterman, Conan, and SNL all in the same week (assuming your trip is just about a week)? That sounds to me like some kind of miracle. I would assume there is a ridiculous waiting list for all of those tickets.
Actually, we're just in NYC from Wed-Sun. Anyways, yes, Conan and Letterman, that probably involves some luck. If i can't secure tickets ahead of time, we'll have to try and get standby tickets when we're there. But as far as the Broadway shows, if you have the money, you can see anything you want. For The Producers, balcony tickets start around $200 and go up from there. I haven't started pricing out the Lion King, but I imagine it'll be similar. Anyways, we got a decent deal on our hotel in NYC, and our stay in Utah should be cheap too. So we can splurge on Broadway shows, and dining out, which is what (i'm told) New York is all about.
