He and Frank Miller are making 'Batman: Year One' into a movie. Apparently it's going to be a gritty '70s-style, 'French Connection' sort of deal, which sounds pretty cool to me.
A hell of a lot better than the campy '60s West/Ward 'Batman' wannabe Schumacher pictures.
But don't be knocking Burton, there. His movies rocked. Especially 'Batman Returns'.
