When a board retires, it must be like shelving a fine wine...perhaps it is not the length of a particular board, but the quality of the substance therein...
Also suggested:
As one board may go well with chicken or fish, so might another accompany pizza. (I find that most boards accompany pizza, actually.)
Do not guzzle your board, or let it linger too long in the palate, but savor the body of it, and ingest quickly.
Always be certain to let your board breathe, but re-cork your board after prolonged use.
