Well, old man Lucas has gone and done it again. He has shot even MORE footage to add to the already digitally enhanced special edition original trilogy. When will they be released? Some time this decade. Most likely after Episode III's theatrical run. He's screwing around with them AGAIN!
Why can't he just leave them alone? I mean, you don't see God coming out with "The Bible: Special Edition" with deleted passages and bonus psalms. Complete with a director's cut of Creation and an additional "lost" gospel. And as a special feature, 12 minutes of brand new bonus footage of Jesus Christ talking to Jabba the Hut in the Temple of Solomon.
Enough is enough. Quit fucking around with them and preserve the dignity of the holy trilogy.
At the same time I find my self experiencing a guilty curiosity about what will be added. Does that make me bad?
Disclaimer: The above statement is in no way meant to compare George Lucas to God or to in any way make a religous statement or point. Just an analogy to point out the rediculousness of continually adding to movies that wrapped production more than 20 years ago.
P.S. - Vandal668 would like to apologize for any posters here who do equate George Lucas with God. While the above statement is not meant to imply a similarity between the two, it does not deny one either.
