: * Shari says that our group has now booked OVER 100 rooms at the Inn for Sunday night (Jan 6th)! We officially OWN the place. She asked me to grab a few more names of any under 21 parties who booked rooms, but don't have anyone over 21 to sign for them. She'll take the names and make sure the front desk folks get you in. Just post a reply with the name that's on the reservation, and I'll pass the list on to Shari.
: * She also spoke with the manager of Morgan's, who said that by January, there will be a multitude of TV's hanging all over the place in there. He has no problem with letting us plug in to one or two of them, as long as none of the guests object. We also can't mess with Sunday Night Football, as there are always a few locals who hang out at Morgan's and watch the game. I'm guessing that their TV's will have regular RCA-type VIDEO/LEFT/RIGHT or VIDEO/AUDIO jacks, so you'll have to have the proper gear and wires. I'm trying to get them to confirm exactly what jacks the TV's have, but I think the ones they're telling me about haven't been installed yet, so they just don't know.
: * Also, if you're under 21, you can get into Morgan's, but you just can't sit at the bar. They've modified their policy for our group by carding at the bar instead of at the door, so please cooperate. There's an ocean of tables in there, so this shouldn't be a problem.
: * Remember that to get the $69 group rate, your reservation MUST be made by December 1, so that gives you a week and a half to get in there. The Inn itself may be booked full by Christmas, and while we won't be the only guests in the place, we'll certainly be the majority. See you there...
