I'm proving to be a terrible lurker these last two days. I'm going to focus on albums as opposed to songs, 'cause I can't narrow down to songs very well.

The Beatles. Everything by the Beatles.

Paul McCartney (though he's got a lot of crap as well as good stuff. Wings too)

Phish. Not everything, though... just a shitload.

Chris Cornell, the whole album.

Soundgarden... Let's stick with the Superunknown and Badmotorfinger for expediency's sake.

Charlie Hunter. Badass.

Cake. Prolonging the Magic.

Styx. (But only the stuff Tommy Shaw sang. Can't stand Dennis DeYoung's voice)

Faith No More

Mr. Bungle (but only the first album, Disco Volante was just distorted crap voice shit)

Aquarium Rescue Unit. (with Oteil Burbridge, godhood bound)

Bela Fleck and the Flecktones (with Victor Wooten, the only deity)

I don't like Primus anymore.

Rush. Mentioned very reluctantly.

Yes.

Good Question (not fair, that's my band!)

Mourning Wood (that's better... they played a show with my band... two even!)

Don't expect any punk or mallcore from me. Or ska.

Frank Zappa.

Forbidden.

Slayer.

Fuck Metallica, fuck them up their stupid asses.

Harry Nilsson.

John Scofield.

Medeski, Martin, and Wood.

I'm not very good at picking favorites, am I? Yes, I am, Beatles came first, Phish came second (counting Paul as a Beatle), Cornell came third... I think I got the top three sequence right, at least. I listen to a lot... no classical, no country... but I hate a WHOLE lot, too, and the places to hear what I hate are MTV and what's played on most radio stations not affiliated with colleges.
