By your argument, if Michael Bolton charged $3 a ticket in 1990 and sold 100 tickets, and Paul Simon charged $8 in 1998 and sold 20 tickets , then Michael Bolton is clearly the robbed party, since if you 'adjust for inflation', Michael Bolton outsold Paul Simon....
