it will be available to rent - but don't count on your local Blockbuster to carry it, not unless it gets picked up by a distributor that is willing to really promote and mass produce it. Sometime ago I thought someone said that it was going to eventually be available for purchase at Best Buy.
: Today, I went to Blockbuster, thinking: I have that free DVD rental on my card ("Virgin Suicides" was scratched to hell, and I don't know the ending and DON'T TELL ME), I'm gonna rent "A Better Place", that acclaimed movie by Vincent.
: So, I pull in, all happy that I was this brilliant, and go in the store. And look through the new DVDs. And then I look through the new videos. And then I look through the old DVDs. And then I look through the Drama section of the videos.
: No dice.
: I go to the "Customer Service" line and wait for some guy to complain that 30 copies of "Blow" just aren't enough, and finally ask: "Do you have 'A Better Place'?"
: I must have said it in Swahili, cos the man just _looked_ at me like I had lost my mind. But, he was a good guy and punched it in. To no avail.
: Vinny, I want to see your movie. I've heard all sorts of wonderful things about it, but I'd like to rent it before I buy it. (I'm sure you will understand.) I'm in Connecticut. Does anyone know where a copy lies?
: Thanks,
