Although Rocket Scientist does have a point about way off-topics posts, he kills it by repeating it over and over again. Adding insults and derogatory remarks every 10 words doesn't help his case.
I must say that in the week since i started reading this board, i'm amazed by the low level of some discussions. Some people, (even a few reds, i'm afraid), go beyond the simple difference of opinions and hit straight below the belt. I guess that it the price to pay for having a non-moderated public board.
I would enjoy a few heated discussions and the occasional insults, but me humbly thinks that calling someone an asshole once should suffice. I'd rather not read 32 posts discussing one's smell of vomit and bad drinking habits.
I come here because i enjoy ViewAskew's work and sense of humor. I guess i also enjoy the VA fans humor too but pleaaaaaaaaase, could we limit the fights to what is acceptable in a nice social circle? Just asking :-)
