: : : I'm a youth minister at an episcopal church... Don't worry, I love all of Kevin's films, especially Dogma. I doubt, Kevin if you're reading this, that you would have time even if you wanted to, but what would be the chances of getting you to come, or have you ever talked to kids (like high schoolers) about Dogma, why you wrote it... why you felt it needed to be written and filmed, the kind of flack you've gotten from the religious right. What you think is "right," etc.

: : : I know that this will probably not even get a response, but I would love to have someone from your production team, ideally you, come and talk with my youth group about the film. I think there's a lot to learn from it about redemption. Well, thanks for taking the time to read this, whoever does.

: : >I don't know if he'd buy it. That sounds a little to like a "For God and Country!!" setup. The Dogma Documentary explains everything. I saw it at Vulgarthon D1 T1. That will be coming up soon. I forget which DVD it is gonnna be. I'm in trouble now.

: What do you mean "For God & Countrly!!" setup... I doubt I will ever watch the Dogma Documentary... so please explain. Because, just so everyone knows, I'm not trying to postulatize here. I just think it'd be really fucking cool if Kevin talked to a bunch of kids about Dogma. No alterior motive. I have no plans of converting anyone. Just so it's clear. Not that it's going to happen.

> At Vulgarthon he was a saying he was kind of worried about some religious fanatic might kill him over Dogma. The God and country thing was just a quote he used.

> I was just saying that the Dogma documentary was very good. He gave all the reasons for making Dogma, he explained all the flack he got from religious groups, and he defended it all extremely well.

>I can't speak for Kevin, but I just don't think the whole Dogma controversy is something he would want to revisit in a public place. You would need a ton of security. I think it would be great if he'd do it, but we live in a crazy world. The security that you would need at the event alone would cost way to much money. I'm sure there are ways to figure something out (If he wanted to do it), but the Dogma Documentary, in my opinion, was his way of explaining it all to everyone. I can't speak for him though. That's just my opinion. Plus, Kevin is a very busy man right now.
