Well apparently Affleck agrees a LITTLE with making the movie what the director/writer wants it to be I mean...bleh I can't get the vision of a lake scene being shot in a blue pool. Come on people! As Affleck said Miramax knew the amount of money was subject to change. You say he's SO fucking lucky well I bet you anything that if you were up there you'd do the same, one million bucks can't buy dick in the movie business but they tried to make due. Nobody come back with Clerks, we all know it was made for less than 30 thousand bucks and I have nothing but respect for Clerks and Kevin. But Clerks, although one of the funniest movies of all time it wasn't made by a big movie company, as Kevin said on the Mallrats Featurette he thought that they could make Mallrats for a little more than Clerks but then Universal was just like..
"That's not a real movie."
Although I totally disagree with that, that's what movie companies will say if you shove a Indi film into their face. Give the guy a break, he's trying to live his dream and although I will admit he is being a little TOO bitchy, in the words of Atticus...uh put yourself in the other guys shoes or something.
