: : sheesh....why the competition. ones a book, ones a movie. True there is a movie made out of the book but who cares.

: they're both books.

: : star wars is just a movie from the seventies about another galaxy and galatic politics and such and Lord of the Rings-Fellowship of the ring is 2 books of a 6 book series of a 3 book set about yet another type of world. It's about creatures called hobbits and very medevil inspired.

:
: Fellowship is one book of the LOTR trilogy(Fellowship, Two Towers and Return of the king)... the prequel is the Hobbit and before that is the Silmarillion, the history of their World, there's 5 books and they're 50 some years old.

:
: before you tell us what not to decide, go read a damn book.

the books........fellowship, two towers and return of the king are all seperate books with TWO BOOKS inside each, thus making a total of six LOTR books. The hobbit is the before any of that, telling of bilbos adventures and middle earth.

Star wars is a rip off the the 1950's samarui movie THE HIDDEN FORTRESS.

Please, you schooled know one today.
