Not true you can get tons of games for a mac however you cannot pick the games up at your local mall electronics store most likely you would have to go online and buy your software or find a Apple Certified dealer. Most places don't carry Mac Software "I know I've owned a MAC for years" If you going for a laptop get the IBook it's about the same price plus it's easier to use on the move. But you might lose some hard drive space "big deal unless your a graphic Designer and you need all that space for Illustrator/Photoshop Files.
: hola oi
: it all depends upon wht you want to use the system for.
: MAC's are great becuase of ease of use and an intuitive interface, but because they are mostly propietary devices unto themselves, they lack the enormous software support that PC's enjoy not the least of which are games.
: Ask yourselves these questions:
: 1) Do I need to lug this 'puter everywhere I go?
: 2) Do I need spot-on color management for preofessioanl purposes, and
: if so, am I willing to pay a premium price for it?
: 3) How important is game-playing on this 'puter to me?
: 4) Do i see an immediate need or want to do DV editing and do I already
: own a FireWire DV camcorder?
: I can think of others, but answer these first and lemme know.
