For eight hundred years Ireland had to suffer terrible slavery, serfdom and persecution from English kings. The royals settled Ireland by giving away land to the peerage and gentry. Landlords and Squires bled the working Irishman dry.

You saying your Britain's bloody past is untrue is like a Neo-Nazi claiming the Holocaust never happened. I have nothing against Britain or its people; what's in the past is in the past, and you're not responsible for the actions of those before you.
