When I see a movie based on a comic book, I want it to be JUST LIKE THE COMIC BOOK. I don't want the characters to be three-dimensional. I want them to be flat cut-out characters moving over a stationary background like those old Golden Book videos from the 1980's. I don't want characters to look appropriate in relation to real-world standards. For example, Magneto was too OLD in "X-Men". I don't care that he's a survivor of the Holocaust, I want him to be big and buff like in the comic books! The Rock might not be able to act, but put a grey wig on him and he'll look more like the REAL Magneto than that stupid gay weak Sir Ian McKellan. As for Michael Clarke Duncan playing Kingpin, we all know that Kingpin is white. Sure, MCD should be faithful to the comic book in EVERY WAY except his race, but there are plenty of big fat bald guys out there who can't act, and we all know that the fact that they're white should be the deciding factor. There are all sorts of other atrocities commited by the movie industry when it comes to comic book adaptions. First of all, Spider-Man shouldn't have fucking organic webshooters! It's more realistic to have a teenager create a substance that has enormous industrial potential! As for the costumes in "X-Men", I can totally buy that a tough guy like Wolverine would go for wearing a bumble-bee yellow suit with blue underwear on the outside! Fuck "adaption", I think they should just get one of US die-hard fans to read issues of the comic book while someone films the ACTUAL BOOK while the pages are flipped! FUCK YEAH!

: I aint a racist if that's what your thinking pal. The point IS, you need to be true to the REAL character. And he aint THAT much of a badass. He'll be in the Scorpion King soon. Tell me how bad ass he is after that.
