So how many suckers besides me own both the VHS and the DVD of Kevin Smith movies?
After seeing J&SBSB in theaters, I had an urge to resee some of the old movies (I think it had subliminals in it) so I ran out and bought 'Clerks' and 'Mallrats' (still my favorite) and the Clerks Animated VHS....
a few months later I got a DVD player, and decided to check out the Malrats DVD. Then I saw Dogma DVD on sale.. (what's up with the stripper sucking her thumb? trying to appeal to pediophiles or something?) Then I decided to get Chasing Amy (Not my favorite, needed more Hooper) and the same day saw the Clerks Animated was marked down...
So now I just have to wait for the J&SBSB DVD and the anniversary Clerks DVD (which I believe will be colorized, have a bunch of digital actors inserted into new scenes, including the ghost of the legendary cousin Walter) and I'll have the whole set. Except for the $30 box, which if you want to put Dogma and J&SBSB in it, you're gonna need a bigger box (A $50 one, perhaps?)
So anyone else have them in more then one format? Laserdisk, perhaps? (Don't feel bad, there's a betamax in my basement, and I used to have a 8-track player)
