I suppose I was able to tap into something universal that a lot of people can relate to and respond to, and did a good job of developing it cinematically.

I don't think I need to. Directing is like riding a bike, you never forget. I'm really looking forward to it, though. If we can whip this religious-themed horror script into shape before too long (HINT HINT, CERTAIN SOMEBODY WHO READS THIS BOARD WHO'S SUPPOSED TO BE READING IT, HEH HEH...), I'd love to try and raise the budget and shoot it in the fall. It certainly won't take a lot of money, and the fall/early winter would be great for it visually (the entire thing takes place on a deserted beach during the off-season in one day).
