: First i'll just say that i'm a massive fan of all the films, just to get it out of the way, but why i'm writing this is to find out if there is any chance of getting the rights to "Clerks" to make it into a stage play for an amature theatre production on the Central Coast in Australia. I'm not that familiar with the process of this whole thing, but a few organizations that i have spoken with like "Mad Cow" and the "Adhoc theatre company" have shown interest in producing this classic film into a play given the proper authorisation. "Clerks" has always been a favorite film of mine personally and its a great introduction to Smith's comic genius and ability to create absurd and eccentric situations and characters in even the most mundane circumstances. Also to some small degree it might influence the income gained from JSBST and the others by opening the characters up to audiences who have not yet seen the films or know of Kevin Smith through his work so far, though i'm sure this is probably not a huge incentive. None the less if anyone could send me information on how to obtain the rights or people i should get in contact with this would be greatly appreciated.
: Thanks for reading, who ever is doing so,
