How would one gauge the films? Be honest with what you know. Every movie at the previous thons have their own style. For example: A lot of people think BIg Helium Dog sucks and a lot of people loved it. Kevin Smith also admitted he hadn't seen "Now You Know" while he was at the thon. Where's the screening process there? SOme people thought Vulgar was justr Vulgar, including my girlfriend. Vincent has enough with his own film projects. I just think screening Fan made Indy films would just make things harder, and less Independant like.

: That's my whole thing right there..... there would have to be some sort of crazy screening process, and while it may be cheaper.... it sounds like a hunk more work than needed. And with as burnt out ass vincent was.... does the event need more work? I don't know.

: My whole thing comes down to the screening process thing. Like, I wouldn't want to have to watch crap that I'm not gonna dig. Like with the events, everything is under the VA name (for the most part), so you know what you're getting. But if I paid money and had to sit through Beer U, which everyone seems to think is fantabulous and I think isn't.... well then I'm fucked.
