: I will give him that - I was just disappointed as I'd hoped he would have given a better account of himself.
Yeah, but those fights usually end quickly (Kazuyuki Fujita lost a shootfight in Thirty Nine seconds and HE was New Japan's World Champion at the time.)
: Berbeck - what a wuss! The boxers never did cut it in UWFi.
Apparently he'd held the UWFi up for more money just about an hour before the card (by threatning to walk out if he didn't get it.) so that's why the fight changed from a shoot-style match to a real fight (without anyone telling Berbeck.)
He also squared up to Takada backstage afterwards (when his friends were there) but then pussied out AGAIN when the rest of the wrestlers made it clear that it would be a fair fight.
:I wish I'd videoed all the shows when they was on, but I was lucky enough to find the official video featuring Nobuhiko Takada on Amazon - no Albright, but it does feature Takada's classic encounter with Yamazaki (as well as the Berbeck shambles).
Was it just me or did the shows on Bravo have the worst commentary in any of sport EVER? ("STF?! Is that some sort of code?")
