Well, I felt like doing my own little movies of 2001, but also include what movies I want to see this year as well. So here's at it (in no particular order).
J&SB-What can I say, it was the total die hard fans' movie. Kevin I tip my hat off to you, this is your best work to date my opinion. Can't wait for Jersey Girl.
Harry Potter and the Socerer's Stone-So yeah I'm not a muggle, but I think this was still a very good movie. Rickman was perfect as Snape, and thought Richard Harris did a fantastic job. The kids will get better much like the books do.
Lord Of The Rings The Fellowship of the Rings-Someone put it best when they said it's how and epic should be made. It is truely wonderful movie and plan on watching it yet again for the third or fourth time.
Bridget Jones Diary-I did enjoy this movie very much as well. I thought Rene did a fantastic job as did Hugh Grant, for once.
Legally Blonde-Maybe it's cause I'm from California and I know people like that, but I thought it was a wonderful movie, very wity and comedic.
American Outlaws-Sorry, I thought it was just a good movie for an action/western. The fact I have a thing for Ali Larter doesn't hurt either.
American Pie 2-I thought this was better than the original. Maybe you have to be somewhat near that age range and know people like that to actually find it amusing.
Now for 2002
Attack of the Clones-What can I say, two Fetts, Christopher Lee, a grown Padme and possibly Yoda in action and the death of the gungans, not to mention the inrtoduction of the storm troopers, you know I'll be in NYC for the premier.
Spiderman-Watch the trailer, nuff said.
Blade 2-Just another ass kickin movie, plus with Whistler's character in it, it'll definitely be interesting.
XXX-A new twist to this whole James Bond type movie. Vin Diesel is just a total bad ass, and with Samuel L. Jackson as his boss, accept no substitues.
Scooby Doo-We all loved the show as kids, I wanna see how badly they screw this up.
The New Guy-Eliza Dushku, nuff said.
